Why is my Volvo leaking oil or whistling at idle?
On 5-cylinder Volvos, a clogged PCV oil trap builds crankcase pressure. That pressure can cause a whistle and push oil out of seals and gaskets.

We test crankcase pressure, service the oil trap and breather hoses, and then reseal what leaked.
Colorado Springs: short trips in cold weather build moisture in the breather system, so these traps clog faster here.
Why is my Volvo burning oil?
On 2013–2016 5-cylinder turbo engines and 2015–2016 Drive-E 2.0 engines, worn piston rings are a known cause, and Volvo covered it with an extended warranty for a time. On older 5-cylinders, a clogged PCV oil trap can push oil past the seals.

Is my Volvo's all-wheel drive still working?
Not always. The angle gear, which sends power to the rear, can wear out quietly and leave the car driving on its front wheels only. Some failures whine or drone at 20–40 mph.

Why is there water on my Volvo's floor?
Clogged sunroof drain tubes are a common cause. Water that can't drain out runs into the cabin and can damage carpet and wiring.
