GMC Truck Service and Maintenance
Professional Grade
GMC has distinguished itself as GMC's premium truck and SUV division since 1912, offering "professional grade" vehicles that blend capability with upscale refinement.
OUR EXPERIENCE WITH GMC VEHICLES

At Westco Automotive, we see GMC owners who appreciate the premium touches but need the same rugged capability as their Chevrolet counterparts. Our technicians understand that beneath the Denali trim and polished grille, these are GM trucks with familiar engineering—and familiar issues. We've performed countless AFM lifter replacements on Yukons and Sierras, instrument cluster repairs, and 4WD system service. Whether it's a Sierra HD with Duramax power or a Terrain with timing chain concerns, we treat every GMC with the professional grade attention it deserves.
Some common repairs for GMC Vehicles:
-
AFM (Active Fuel Management) lifter failure repairs
-
Instrument cluster stepper motor replacement
-
4WD transfer case encoder motor replacement

Interesting Information
GMC's Denali trim, introduced in 1999 on the Yukon, has become so successful that it now accounts for over 25% of GMC sales and has spawned its own sub-brand of accessories and even a Denali version of the GMC Acadia. The name comes from Denali, the highest peak in North America and The GMC Syclone of 1991 was a technological marvel—a turbocharged V6 AWD pickup that could accelerate from 0-60 in 4.3 seconds, faster than a Ferrari 348 of the same year. Only 2,995 were produced, making them highly collectible today.
