Why does my Isuzu NPR keep asking to regenerate?
Frequent regen requests on an NPR diesel usually mean a DPF loaded with soot or ash, a failing sensor, or an EGR problem feeding it extra soot. Stop-and-go delivery routes make it worse.

What we do
We diagnose the sensors and the system, clean the DPF or run a service regen when appropriate, and repair what failed. We repair emissions systems — we don't delete them.
Colorado Springs: Short in-town routes never get the DPF hot enough. If it keeps asking, let it finish or bring it in.
Why is my NPR losing power?
On NPR diesels, power loss is often a sticking turbo — carbon on the variable vanes — a boost leak, or the truck protecting itself in reduced power mode because of an emissions fault.

Why is there a DEF warning on my 2013–2018 NPR?
On 2013–2018 NPRs, DEF warnings often come from crystallized DEF clogging the doser or lines, a failing sensor, or an SCR catalyst problem.

Why is my NPR-HD losing coolant under load?
On NPR-HD diesels worked hard, coolant loss can mean a head gasket failing under heavy load, a cracked exhaust manifold, or a charge air cooler leak.

Why won't my NPR's cab tilt?
NPR cabs tilt forward for engine access. When the tilt cylinder leaks or fails, the cab won't lift or won't hold.

How often should NPR brakes be checked?
NPR brakes do severe-duty work — heavy loads and constant stops — so calipers and rotors wear faster than on a pickup. We check them at every service.
