The Isuzu NPR has been the best-selling low-cab-forward truck in America for over 35 consecutive years. Isuzu Diesel engines are known for their longevity, with many NPR trucks exceeding 300,000 miles with proper maintenance. The "NPR" name stands for "N-Series, Platform, Regular Cab" and Isuzu has manufactured over 30 million diesel engines globally since its founding in 1916. The 4HK1 engine found in modern NPR trucks features a common rail direct injection system capable of injection pressures exceeding 29,000 psi.
