Why is my HEMI ticking?
On many Ram HEMIs, a tick that's loudest on a cold start is a broken exhaust manifold bolt letting the manifold leak. Heat cycling snaps the bolts. A lifter problem can also tick, so it has to be diagnosed.

Why won't my Ram's 4WD engage?
On many Rams, 4WD that won't engage is a failed front axle actuator or transfer case encoder motor, not a failed transfer case.

Why is my 2009–2012 Ram 1500 having electrical problems?
On 2009–2012 Ram 1500s, random electrical faults — no-starts, a fuel pump that won't run, horn or lights acting up — often trace to the TIPM (the main fuse and relay module).

Why does my Ram 1500 shudder at low speed?
On 2013–2018 Ram 1500s with the 8-speed automatic, a shudder at low speeds is commonly the torque converter or transmission fluid condition.

Why does my Ram clunk over bumps?
Clunks over bumps on a Ram are usually worn ball joints, tie rods, control arm bushings or sway bar links — the front end carries a lot of weight.

Why are the brake lines on my Ram rusting through?
Road salt and de-icers corrode steel brake lines on older Rams until they leak — sometimes with little warning.
